2012 Asian Athletics Champs on Alsatan by Stockmeier

The Asian Athletic Association has given approval for Sri Lanka to host the 2012 Asian Junior Athletic Championships in June.

Speaking to media, Sri Lanka Athletics Association G.G.L.S. Perera has said that the event will be in Colombo in 9-12 June 2012.
The track will be by Stockmeier Germany, in their brand Alsatan. It is currently being installed at Sugathadasa Stadium by ASI.
The meet will feature athletes from around 40 countries....
This will be the 15th edition of the Games.
