Mid Canterbury hockey gets the blues

Mid Canterbury Hockey Association (Ashburton) of New Zealand has a navy blue Eagleturf Dieter (x-nylon+) field. The new 13mm system in made is the USA, with an 11mm Stockmeier Germany shock-pad.
The "cool" 3D surrounds will be the local team colours of green and yellow. "Hockey players prefer the smooth ball roll of nylon 6 fibre from USA".
The installation and earthquake base repair will be done by local company ASI Mainland Sports Limited. Hayden Shaw is looking forward to this exciting project. "We can't wait for opening day in January", ex International New Zealand / World X1 player Hayden Shaw said. "We hope this will be the best field built in New Zealand".
